We work to ensure optimal structure, function, and health. We strive to help you reach your goals and educate you on preventative care. With years of experience our Doctors will assess you and create a treatment plan that is right for you. We will educate you on the most effective ways to take care of your body!
Chiropractic Care is safe and effective for the entire family and can help with many of the problems which plague people today. The Doctor and Staff at Dynamic Chiropractic & Wellness Center are here to help restore you to better health and to help keep you that way.
The term “chiropractic” combines the Greek words cheri (hand) and praxis (practice) to describe a treatment done by hand. Chiropractic is based on the scientific fact that your nervous system controls the function of every cell, tissue, and organ of your body. Your nervous system consists of your brain, spinal cord, and millions of nerves. Your spinal cord is protected by the 24 moving bones of the spine called vertebrae. From between these vertebra exit the nerves that go to all parts of the body.
Mis-alignments (subluxations) of the vertebrae, discs, and other joints may cause irritation to the delicate nervous system and affect the structures, organs, and functions of the body.
Although there are a lot of treatment options, we primarily perform adjustments (manipulations) to the spine or other parts of the body with the goal of correcting alignment problems, alleviating pain, improving function, and supporting the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Along with this we will support the adjustment with adjunct therapies, stretches, and strengthening exercises as you get to feeling better!
The first visit usually lasts 30 minutes. We will want to know about your goals for treatment, your health history, and daily activities. Treatment usually begins at the first or second visit (pending on the type of injury). Some people are a little achy, stiff, and tired for a few days after manipulation. This is because your body is adjusting to its new alignment.
